Bay of Islands Archery Club
Club Nights – Tuesday from 4.00pm – 6.00pm
At – 1144 Oromahoe Road – Oromahoe
The Bay of Islands Archery Club has a beautiful outdoor range situated on Oromahoe farm land. On club nights we shoot at targets set in 10 yard increments from 10 to 50 yards. On selected Sundays we open our bush course. These targets can include classic round styles, paper animal targets and life-sized 3D animal targets.
Costs: Annual membership is $60.00 – there are discounts available for more than 1 family member We charge $5.00 per night on club nights for our members to cover the ongoing costs of equipment and maintenance
First visit is free for people interested in joining and then you either have the option of becoming a member or paying $12 per visit for up to a maximum of 3 visits. After the 3rd visit if you still wish to participate then you will have to become a member.
In interests of safety all members under the age of 15 must have supervision
The club has a number of bows that are available for members to use
We have qualified instructors who supervise our members on the range and provide training on club nights. We also have as a member and on our Committee Trevor Irvine – International Master Coach.
